(A) The city shall apply the same standards and conditions for review and approval of a subdivision in the extraterritorial review area as established in § 157.004.
(B) The City Council may, by resolution, waive its right to review the subdivision or waive the requirements of any of its standards or conditions for approval of the subdivision in the extraterritorial area. Such resolution shall be certified and recorded with the plat.
(C) Procedures for certifying approval of subdivisions in the extraterritorial area of the city shall be the same as those established for other subdivisions with the city unless waived by the governing body (per Iowa Code §§ 354.8 and 354.9).
