§ 157.055 PLATS REQUIRED.

In order to secure approval of a proposed subdivision, the owner and subdivider of any major subdivision shall comply with the requirements for a preliminary plat and the requirements for a final plat. The owner and subdivider of a minor subdivision or an auditor’s plat may elect to omit the submission of a preliminary plat (per Iowa Code § 354.6).
