Any proposed subdivision or resubdivision shall be classified as minor subdivision or a major subdivision.
(A) Minor subdivision. Means any subdivision that contains not more than four lots fronting on an existing street and that does not require construction of any public improvements, and that does not adversely affect the remainder of the parcel shall be classified as a minor plat.
(B) Major subdivision. Any subdivision that, in the opinion of the governing body, does not for any reason meet the definition of a minor subdivision, shall be classified as a major subdivision.
