The term of office of the members of the Board is three years. The terms are staggered so that two members are appointed each year with the exception that each third year only one member is appointed. Terms shall begin March 1. Vacancies occurring on the Board caused by resignation or otherwise shall be filled for the unexpired term in the same manner as original appointments, in compliance with Iowa Code 372.15.
