(A) Energy connections. An electrical system or equipment regulated by this code for which a permit is required shall not be connected to a source of energy or power until approved by the Building Inspector.
(B) Temporary connections. The Building Inspector may authorize the temporary connection of the electrical system or equipment to the source of energy or power for the purpose of testing the equipment, or for use under a temporary certificate of occupancy.
