(A) Any person violating any provisions of this chapter, for which no specific penalty is prescribed, shall be subject to § 10.99.
(B) (1) Any person who fails to perform an act required by the provisions of §§ 131.45 through 131.51, or who commits an act prohibited by the provisions of §§ 131.45 through 131.51, shall be guilty of a simple misdemeanor punishable by a fine or punishable as a municipal infraction civil penalty as set forth in this code.
(2) A person may be prosecuted under the public nuisance provisions set forth in this code and/or any other remedy available at law, to address any failure to perform an act required by the provisions of §§ 131.45 through 131.51, or any action prohibited by the provisions of this code of ordinances or Iowa Code.
(a) A person who sells consumer fireworks to a person who is less than 18 years of age commits a simple misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not less than $250.
(b) A person who is less than 18 years of age who purchases consumer fireworks commits a simple misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not less than $250.
(e) A person who is less than 18 years of age who uses or explodes consumer fireworks or display fireworks commits a simple misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not less than $250.
