For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates, or requires, a different meaning.
EXISTING OUTDOOR FURNACES. Any outdoor furnace in existence as of May 14, 2019.
OUTDOOR FURNACE. Any equipment, device, or apparatus which is installed, affixed, or situated outdoors or within another structure for the primary purpose of burning fuel to produce heat or energy used in whole or in part as a heating system to provide heat and/or hot water to any structure.
STACK or CHIMNEY. Any vertical structure enclosing a flue or flues that carry off smoke, exhaust, and other emissions from an outdoor furnace.
