§ 72.54 ATVS AND UTVS PERMIT.
   No owner shall allow a person to operate an ATV or UTV on any public street or alley, for any purpose, unless the vehicle is registered with the Department of Natural Resources.
   (A)   Proof of ownership. The owner of each ATV or UTV shall be required to provide proof of ownership, including State Department of Natural Resources registration and proof of liability insurance with appropriate minimum standards as required by the Iowa Code § 321.20B.
   (B)   Current registration. ATV or UTV vehicles registered in the state are required to display their current State Department of Natural Resources registration decal.
