A. Any person who develops a subdivision shall be responsible for the installation of all necessary water mains. Unless the developer, owner or contractor agrees so to do, no permit shall issue for the development of said subdivision. (Ord. 896, 9-6-1977; amd. 2016 Code)
B. All water mains hereafter constructed in any subdivision or addition to the Village, whether platted or unplatted, or whether said plat has or has not been accepted by the Village President and Board of Trustees, shall be of such size and materials as shall be first approved in writing by the Village President and Board of Trustees, and no such water mains shall be constructed without written application for a permit to construct the same having first been made to the Village President and Board of Trustees and permission in writing granted by the Village President and Board of Trustees for the construction of the same.
