9-4-16: APPEALS:
   A.   Right Of Appeal: Any person aggrieved by any decision or order of the building inspector may appeal to the Zoning Board of Appeals by serving written notice to the building inspector who, in turn, shall immediately transmit the notice to the Zoning Board of Appeals, which shall meet to hear it within thirty (30) days thereafter. The building inspector shall take no further action on the matter pending the Board's decision except for unsafe signs which present an immediate and serious danger to the public, as provided in this chapter.
   B.   Duties Of Zoning Board Of Appeals: The Zoning Board of Appeals shall hold public hearings on all appeals and shall permit all interested persons to offer oral or written testimony. The Board shall serve written notices of the appeals and public hearings to all interested persons at least fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing. After the close of the hearing, the Board, by majority vote, may affirm, annul or modify the order or action of the building inspector and hereby has the authority so to do.
   C.   Appeal From Decision Of Zoning Board Of Appeals To Village Board: Anyone may appeal the decision of the Zoning Board of Appeals directly to the Village Board of Trustees upon written notice of appeal to the Village Clerk. This appeal shall be heard at the next convenient meeting of the Village Board of Trustees. The Village Board of Trustees may accept, reject or modify the action of the Zoning Board of Appeals. Any modification of the ruling of the Zoning Board of Appeals shall require a two-thirds (2/3) majority of the Village Board of Trustees. (Ord. 2015-1450, 8-4-2015)
