A. This chapter is applicable to any person who operates a skateboard, scooter, roller skates, in-line skates, bicycle or similar self-propelled device in or on any public way, public place, Tower Park/village hall area, specified business center area, or any area, sidewalk, street or property in which the use of such devices are prohibited by this chapter.
B. The parent of any child and the guardian of any ward under the age of eighteen (18) shall not authorize or knowingly permit any such child or ward to violate any of the provisions of this chapter.
C. This chapter shall not apply to a disabled person operating a motorized scooter in the prohibited areas as set forth in this chapter. (Ord. 2003-1212, 4-1-2003)
