7-2-14: EXEMPTION FROM COMPLIANCE WITH CERTAIN LIMITATIONS ON PARKING:
   A.   The Chief of Police is hereby authorized to approve requests for exemptions from compliance with certain limitations on parking on public streets but only under the following circumstances:
      1.   The person seeking an exemption resides adjacent to a public street subject to limitations on the hours during which vehicles may be parked on such adjacent street, but such limitations do not prohibit parking at all times.
      2.   The person seeking an exemption has insufficient space at his or her place of residence to park all vehicles utilized by persons living at the residence on an improved driveway.
   B.   An approved exemption shall allow parking only on the public street adjacent to the residence of the person requesting the exemption and then only during hours when parking would otherwise be prohibited. An exemption shall not apply to any other rule or regulation governing the parking of vehicles.
   C.   No more than two (2) vehicles may be parked on the public street under authority of any such exemption at any one time.
   D.   The Chief of Police shall grant such an exemption through a letter signed by the Chief of Police which describes the exemption.
   E.   The Chief of Police shall revoke an exemption if he finds that the recipient no longer qualifies for the exemption because of some change in circumstances. (Ord. 2017-1529, 11-28-2017)
