1-8-2: TERMS OF OFFICE:
   A.   The term of office for all elected village officials shall begin not later than the first regular or special meeting in the month of May. (Ord. 944, 4-8-1981)
   B.   All officers of the village shall hold their respective offices during and for the respective terms for which they are elected or appointed and until their successors are elected or appointed and qualified. (1914 Code § 4-3)
