A. Discharge Of Weapons: It is hereby declared unlawful for any person within the limits of the village to discharge any cannon, revolver or other firearm without first obtaining permission so to do from the village board of trustees. (1914 Code § 10-12; amd. 2016 Code)
B. Concealed Weapons:
1. Prohibited: No person within the village shall carry or wear under his clothing or concealed about his person any pistol, revolver, derringer, bowie knife, dirk, knife, razor, dagger, slungshot, metallic knuckles or other dangerous or deadly weapons of a like character. (Ord. 580, 1-27-1964)
2. Exemptions: Nothing in this section shall be so construed as to prevent any United States, state, county or village officer, or any agent of any express company, while in the discharge of his duties as such agent, from carrying or wearing any such weapons, concealed or otherwise, as may be necessary in the discharge of his duty.
