No any person shall, within the limits of the village, keep, maintain or operate, either by himself, his servants or agents, any game of chance, or any gaming house, table, room, or any place whatsoever, wherein or whereat any game of chance shall be played for money or other property, and no person shall be found playing at any game of chance, for money or other property, within the limits of the village.
