Officers or other representatives of Peoria County may enforce the county animal control code within the corporate limits of the village as an authorized delegate of the village under the terms of intergovernmental agreements authorizing such enforcement entered into from time to time by the village of Peoria Heights with Peoria County (an "intergovernmental agreement").
