There is hereby created the village of Peoria Heights ESDA to prevent, minimize, repair, and alleviate injury or damage resulting from explosion of atomic or other means from without or by means of sabotage or other disloyal actions within, or from fire, flood, earthquake, telecommunications failure or other natural or technological causes, in accordance with the Illinois emergency management act. The ESDA shall consist of the coordinator and such additional members as may be selected by the coordinator. (Ord. 872, 4-20-1976; amd. 2016 Code)
