A. For purposes of this Section, portable storage unit means a large container, storage unit, parking crate or other portable structure (such as, but not limited to PODS), which is transportable and is designed and used for the temporary storage of household goods, personal items and other materials used in moving from one place to another.
B. Portable storage units shall be allowed within the Village subject to the following:
1. Portable storage units shall not be placed on Village-owned property or public right of way.
2. The property on which the portable storage unit is placed shall be occupied by a principal building.
3. Portable storage units shall only be allowed on paved surfaces and shall only be allowed for a period not to exceed 60 days in any one-year period. (Ord. 2022-1683, 7-19-2022)
