An application for a peddler's license shall be made in writing to the village administrator and shall set forth the following:
A. The name of the individual applying for the license.
B. The residence, telephone number and driver's license number of the applicant.
C. The address of the principal place of business of the applicant and the applicant's telephone number.
D. If the applicant is employed by another person or entity, the name of the employer, its address and telephone number.
E. A state of Illinois sales tax number or other evidence that the business is registered with the state department of revenue.
F. An applicant engaged in the sale of food or beverages shall demonstrate compliance with chapter 3, article A of this title imposing a tax on the privilege of purchasing food items or alcoholic beverages. Any such applicant issued a peddler's license shall comply with all applicable provisions of chapter 3, article A of this title. (Ord. 2015-1449, 7-15-2015)
