A. Description: A seal in circular form, with the words "Village of Peoria Heights" on the outer circle, and in the interior and center of said circle the words "Incorporated A.D. 1898", shall be the seal of the village; said seal to be used in all cases when required by the laws of the United States or of this state, or by any ordinance of the village, and in all cases in which, by the laws and customs of nations, it is necessary for a municipal corporation to use a seal. B. Custodian: The seal shall be and remain in the custody of the village clerk, to be used by him or the president as provided in subsection A of this section. (1914 Code § 2-2)
