Sec. 2-217. Finance department; fees required.

(a)   The finance department shall collect from each person requesting the services set forth in this section the following fees:

(b)   The applicable department shall charge each person the fees contained in this code, which may be revised periodically thereafter by the City Council.

(c)   Except as provided in Sections 2-209, 2-211, 2-213 and 2-215, all fees contained in this Code are subject to a service fee if paid with a credit card or debit card. The fee is intended to recoup the City's costs associated with the credit card or debit card transactions and shall be 2.80% of the transaction amount or $1.95, whichever is greater.
