The following terms, phrases, words or the derivations shall be the meaning given herein.
(a) When not inconsistent with the context, words used in the present tense include the future tense; words in the plural include the singular; words in the singular include the plural.
(b) “Shall” is always mandatory and not merely directory.
(c) “Person” is any person, firm, partnership, association, corporation, company or organization of any kind.
(d) “Village” is the Village of Peninsula, Summit County, Ohio.
(e) “Street tree” or “tree” is a tree in a public place except where otherwise indicated.
(f) “Clerk” is the Village Clerk of Peninsula, Ohio.
(g) “Mayor and Council” is the Mayor and Council of the Village of Peninsula, Ohio.
