(a) No person shall, after sunset or before 8:00 a.m., go upon private property in the Village without having been requested or invited to do so by the owner or occupant thereof, for the purpose of soliciting orders for the residents thereof for goods, wares, merchandise, services, or for the purpose of disposing, peddling or hawking the same.
(b) For purposes of this section, “sunset” means the time the sun sets, as determined by the chart published by the United States Naval Observatory, Washington D.C., and “person” means any natural person, or any partnership, corporation, association or organization.
