For purposes of this subchapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning. All definitions contained herein shall have the same meaning as set forth in IC 14-16-1, except as indicated herein.
"ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE." As defined in IC 14-16-1-1.5 has the meaning set forth in IC 7.1-1-3-5.
"OPERATE." As defined in IC 14-16-1-4, to:
(1) Ride in or on; and
(2) Be in actual physical control of the operation of a vehicle.
"OPERATOR." As defined in IC 14-16-1-5, an individual who:
(1) Operates; or
(2) Is in actual physical control of an off-road vehicle or a snowmobile.
"OWNER." As defined in IC 14-16-1-6, a person, other than a lienholder, who:
(1) Has the property in or title to; and
(2) Is entitled to the use or possession of an off-road vehicle or a snowmobile.
"VEHICLE." As defined in IC 14-16-1-7, an off-road vehicle or a snowmobile.
(1) OFF ROAD VEHICLE is more precisely defined in IC 14-8-2-185;
(2) For purposes of this subchapter and all related ordinances that have not been repealed, the term VEHICLE includes and may be used interchangeably with NON-TRADITIONAL VEHICLE.
