(A) The meetings of the Village Board shall be held in the meeting place of the municipality. Regular meetings shall be held on the second and fourth Monday each month at the hour of 7:00 p.m.
(B) Unless otherwise provided by the Board, special meetings may also be called by any three members of the Board of Trustees. The object of a special meeting shall be submitted to the Village Clerk in writing. The call and object, as well as the disposition thereof, shall be entered upon the journal by the Clerk. On filing the call for a special meeting, the Clerk shall notify the members of the Board of Trustees of the special meeting, stating the time and its purpose.
(C) At the hour specified for a meeting, the Village Clerk shall proceed to call the roll of members and announce whether a quorum is present. If a quorum is present, the Board shall be called to order by the Chairperson.
(D) (1) At all meetings of the Village Board of Trustees, a majority of the trustees shall constitute a quorum to do business. A smaller number may adjourn from day to day and may compel the attendance of absent members in such manner and under such penalties as prescribed by the Village Board of Trustees.

(2) Unless otherwise provided by the Board, on the request of any two members, whether a quorum is present or not, all absent members shall be sent for and compelled to attend.
