The Board of Trustees may instruct, by resolution, the Village Attorney to file a civil action for the abatement of a nuisance. Said civil suit may commence 15 days after the notice has been served and after the time for remediation of the nuisance has passed as stated in the resolution of the Board, or as stated in this subchapter, and may be filed and prosecuted at the same time any other enforcement procedure has commenced, terminated or is in progress.
