§ 152.027 OTHER DUTIES OF THE FLOODPLAIN ADMINISTRATOR.
   The Floodplain Administrator shall have other duties, including but not limited to:
   (A)   Establish, in coordination with the Building Official, procedures for administering and documenting determinations of substantial improvement and substantial damage made pursuant to § 152.023 of this chapter;
   (B)   Require that applicants proposing alteration of a watercourse notify adjacent communities and the Florida Division of Emergency Management, State Floodplain Management Office, and submit copies of such notifications to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA);
   (C)   Require applicants who submit hydrologic and hydraulic engineering analyses to support permit applications to submit to FEMA the data and information necessary to maintain the Flood Insurance Rate Maps if the analyses propose to change base flood elevations, flood hazard area boundaries, or floodway designations; such submissions shall be made within six months of such data becoming available;
   (D)   Review required design certifications and documentation of elevations specified by this chapter and the Florida Building Code and this chapter to determine that such certifications and documentations are complete;
   (E)   Notify the Federal Emergency Management Agency when the corporate boundaries of City of Pembroke Pines are modified; and
   (F)   Provide, in cooperation with other city departments, flood protection assistance to its residents including site visits, technical advice, review of plans and a list of contractors (for informational purposes only) if requested to do so in writing by the property owner.
   (G)   Provide, upon request, flood hazard information and related data as shown on the FIRM and Elevation Certificates, to city residents, property owners, lending institutions, insurance agents, real estate agents, and governmental agencies and the public in general.
   (H)   Maintain, in cooperation with other city departments, a library of documents related to flood insurance, flood protection and floodplain management as a source of information for city residents and the public in general.
   (I)   Maintain and replace, in cooperation with other city departments, elevation reference bench marks in the field whenever the city is notified that a known benchmark is missing or has become unusable.
