§ 134.37 DETENTION, TREATMENT OF VIOLATORS.
   (A)   Every member of the police force, while on duty, is hereby authorized to detain any minor willfully violating the provisions of § 134.35 until the parent or guardian of the child shall take him into custody; but the officer shall immediately, upon taking custody of the child, communicate with the parent or guardian.

   (B)   If it shall appear that any child taken into custody for a violation of this subchapter is growing up in a delinquent or vagrant fashion, is incorrigible, or is a repeated violator of this subchapter for lack of proper parental care, or because he has no home, proper proceedings shall be taken to have the child placed in the care of a state institution as provided by statute.
