It is the purpose and intent of this chapter to establish uniform security requirements for child care facilities in the City of Pembroke Pines. It is further the intent of the city to:
(A) Provide additional security measures to protect children, parents, employees, and visitors at child care facilities to protect them from crime and improve their quality of life within the City of Pembroke Pines;
(B) Improve law enforcement and first responders' response times to emergencies that occur at child care facilities;
(C) Curtail the instances of crime at child care facilities; and
(D) Deter individuals from committing crime in child care facilities within the City of Pembroke Pines.
