§ 112.71 GRANT OF AUTHORITY; FRANCHISE REQUIRED.
   (A)   The city may grant one or more franchises in accordance with this subchapter and Chapter 3 ½ of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
   (B)   Notwithstanding the city's fire and rescue department, no person may operate private ambulances on public streets in the city without a franchise granted by the city unless otherwise authorized by law.
