§ 93.27 MAINTENANCE.
   (A)   The city shall maintain any and all fire hydrants installed in the public rights-of-way or public easements, but the city shall not be responsible to maintain any facilities installed on private property.
   (B)   The city shall further be responsible for providing or replacing fire hydrants which are part of the existing system as of the date of the enactment of this subchapter, 5-1-85.
   (C)   Any device constructed or installed to protect the hydrant from damage or obstruction shall be based upon a plan approved by the Fire Chief or his designee and on file with the Building Department.
