§ 38.017 SALARY REDUCTION CONTRIBUTIONS.
   (A)   On and after October 1, 1998, the employer shall make salary reduction contributions on behalf of each participant. These contributions shall be made for each payroll period in which that participant is an active participant.
   (B)   The amount of each salary reduction contribution for a participant shall be equal to 7.25% of his compensation each payroll period as stated in his acknowledgement form.
   (C)   Salary reduction contributions are 100% vested and nonforfeitable.
   (D)   After June 30, 2010, the amount of each salary reduction contribution for a participant who is covered under a collective bargaining agreement with the employer shall be equal to 0% of his compensation. If such participant is 0% vested in his accrued benefit resulting from employer contributions other than salary reduction contributions, his salary reduction contributions, plus interest at the rate in effect on June 30, 2010, shall be returned to such participant.
