The purpose and scope of this subchapter is to establish a donation of accrued sick leave program to provide a uniform policy for the donation of accrued sick leave by a Charter School or Early Learning Center employee to another Charter School or Early Learning Center employee who is absent from work due to critical illness or injury, and who has exhausted his or her own personally accrued sick, annual, holiday and other compensatory leave.
