The purpose and scope of this subchapter is to establish a donation of accrued sick/vacation leave program to provide a uniform policy for the donation of accrued sick/vacation leave by employees to another employee who is absent from work due to critical illness or injury, and who has exhausted his/her own personally accrued sick, annual, holiday and other compensatory leave.
