It is the intent of the City Commission in the establishment of an Education Advisory Board that this Board shall act in an advisory capacity to the City Commission in matters relating to issues relating to educational matters from the pre-school through and including post-secondary education level which will impact the quality of education for all city residents and citizens or which will impact education facilities located within the city. The mission of the Education Advisory Board of the City of Pembroke Pines is to enhance education by researching areas of concern, recommending effective programs, and creating partnerships for those schools that are within the appropriate boundaries enabling them to serve Pembroke Pines students.
