(A) It is the intent of the City Commission in the establishment of the Arts and Culture Advisory Board that this Board shall act in an advisory capacity to the City Commission in matters relating to arts and culture within the city.
(B) It is the further intent and purpose in the creation of the Arts and Culture Advisory Board that the Board shall serve as a voice and in a responsive capacity to the artistic and cultural needs of the community, to encourage artistic opportunities for the residents, citizens and visitors of the city and to foster a positive and creative liaison between City Commission and the artistic community.
