§ 32.114 QUALIFICATIONS OF MEMBERSHIP.
   The qualifications for membership shall be as follows:
   (A)   The City Commission’s educational and administrative appointee shall demonstrate definable experience in administrative matters in an educational setting and shall serve a one year term commencing October 1 until September 30.
   (B)   Each parent member of the Board shall have a student enrolled in a Pembroke Pines Charter School. As no students will be enrolled at the time of the appointment of the initial parent members of this Board, the initial parent members are exempt from this requirement.
   (C)   Each business representative serving on the Board shall either reside in the city or do business within the boundaries of the city, evidenced by a valid, current local business tax receipt issued by the city.
   (D)   Each applicant shall indicate his or her interest in becoming well-versed with the City of Pembroke Pines Charter and Code of Ordinances as the same may apply to the operation and administration of the Pembroke Pines Charter Schools and shall be further interested in the development and operations of the Pembroke Pines Charter School programs to best serve the health, safety and welfare of the citizen and residents of the city and Broward County, Florida.
