§ 32.113 COMPOSITION; APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS; TERMS OF APPOINTMENT.
   The Pembroke Pines Charter School Advisory Board shall consist of nine members, seven of which shall be voting members.
   (A)   Non-voting members: The City Manager, or his/her designee, and the Principal of the Charter Schools shall serve as ex officio, non-voting members.
   (B)   Voting members:
      (1)   An individual possessing definable experience in educational and administrative matters shall be appointed by a majority of the City Commission.
      (2)   Five additional voting members and two alternates shall consist of parents of those students enrolled in the Pembroke Pines Charter Schools and shall be elected by the parents of the Pembroke Pines Charter School students for a one year term commencing October 1 until September 30. The initial parent members shall be selected and appointed by the City Commission and shall serve until September 30, 1999.
      (3)   The remaining voting members shall be business representatives of the community selected and appointed by a majority of the City Commission and shall serve a two year terms commencing October 1 until September 30. The initial business representative members shall be selected and appointed by the City Commission to serve until September 30, 2000.
   (C)   Each parent, business representative, and alternate member of the Board shall serve until the expiration of his or her term, resignation, removal for cause, or until a successor is appointed by the respective appointing body, except that the City Manager, or his/her designee, and the Principal shall remain as permanent members of the Board.
