(A) All notices required by this subchapter and by the Local Government Code Enforcement Board’s Act (F.S. Chapter 162), shall be by certified mail, return receipt requested, or, where mail would not be effective, by hand delivery by the Code Inspector.
(B) In the event notices are sent outside the geographical boundaries of the United States, delivery shall be effective by depositing notices in the regular system of mails, not certified, and not return receipt requested. In this instance, time for compliance shall begin to accrue on deposits of the notice or order in the regular United States mail. (Ord. 668, passed 10-5-83; Am. Ord. 1697, passed 9-7-11)
