§ 150.114 ELECTRIC, GAS, CABLEVISION, AND TELEPHONE IMPROVEMENTS.
   (A)   Electric, cablevision, and telephone service shall be provided within each subdivision. Gas service shall be required where reasonably accessible. Whenever such facilities are reasonably accessible and available, they shall be required to be installed within a ten-foot wide front yard easement adjacent to the street right-of-way prior to the approval of the final plat. Telephone, electric, and street lighting wires, conduits, and cables shall be constructed underground, except in cases where the Planning Commission determines that topographic, bedrock, or underground water conditions would limit proper installation.
   (B)   (1)   Overhead utility lines, where permitted, shall be located at the rear of all lots. The width of the easement per lot shall not be less than ten feet and the total easement width shall not be less than 20 feet.
      (2)   Whenever more than one utility, including (sanitary sewer, storm sewers, and waterlines) are placed underground in the same utility easement, the location of the utilities and the width of the easement shall be determined by the Village Utility Department and the village’s engineering representative. The total easement width shall not be less than 20 feet.
   (C)   Identification shall be placed in all trenches containing underground utilities and service lines and shall be located 12 inches above the utility.
   (D)   The location of other utilities (electric, gas, telephone, cable television, and the like) shall be shown on the composite utility plan for final construction drawing review prior to approval by the Planning Commission.
