§ 93.03 REIMBURSEMENT FOR SIDEWALK REPAIRS.
   (A)   Percentage to be reimbursed. All property owners who repair or replace village sidewalks in whole or in part, in the village, that meet the specifications set by the village and in agreement with the village, shall be entitled to a 50% cost reimbursement based on the average cost per square foot to include labor. The cost per square foot will be determined on an annual basis by the village. The following steps must be followed:
      (1)   Permit has been obtained;
      (2)   The work has been approved by the Streets Committee and signed by the Mayor; and
      (3)   The quoted dollar/bid amount of the work to be done has been preapproved by the village.
   (B)   Village approval required. All property owners shall be entitled to reimbursement from the village for sidewalks leveled by the process of “mud jacking” done by professional means to the satisfaction of the village, shall be 50% of the leveling cost.
   (C)   Flagstone buyback program. The homeowner has first right to such sidewalk. If there is a desire to sell such material, the village will offer up to $50 for each section based on its current area of coverage.
