The funds received from the collection of the charges or rentals authorized by this subchapter shall be deposited with the Clerk/Treasurer and be known as the Sewer Fund, and when appropriated by the Council of the village, shall be available for the payment of the costs and expenses of the management, maintenance, operation, and repair of the village sanitary and combined sewerage system and the sewage treatment plant, debt service costs, payment of interest on bonds which may be issued to provide funds for the construction, improvement, enlargement, or replacement of such sanitary and combined sewerage system or sewage treatment plant or of any part thereof, and to retire such bonds when they mature and/or for the construction, improvement, enlargement, or replacement of such sewerage system or sewage treatment plant or any part thereof.
