§ 33.269 JOINT USE OF FMLA LEAVE BY HUSBAND AND WIFE.
   A husband and wife who work for the village and who are eligible for FMLA leave are permitted to take only a combined total of 12 weeks of leave during any 12-month period if the leave is taken:
   (A)   For the birth and/or care of the child after birth;
   (B)   For the placement of a son or daughter with the employee for adoption or foster care or to care for the child after placement; or
   (C)   To care for a parent (but not a parent-in-law) with a serious health condition.
