§ 33.173 ASSIGNMENT AND WORKING OVERTIME.
   (A)   Overtime will be authorized or directed only when it is in the interest of the village and is the most practicable and economical way of meeting workloads or deadlines. Employees are to work only overtime as authorized but must report all hours worked to ensure compliance with the FLSA regardless of whether the work is authorized or not.
   (B)   Employees are required to work overtime when assigned unless excused by the Village Personnel Committee. An employee desiring to be excused from overtime work assignments shall submit a request to the Village Personnel Committee who shall rule on the request.
