170.09 PLATS OF SURVEY.
Whenever an Applicant wishes to make a plat of survey within the platting jurisdiction of the City, said Applicant shall meet the following requirements:
1.   Conceptual Meeting. A conceptual meeting shall be considered an informational meeting between City staff and the Applicant. The time and place of the conceptual meeting shall be set by the Zoning Administrator and the Applicant within seven (7) days of the request by the Applicant.
2.   Plat of Survey. The plat of survey shall be clearly and legibly drawn at a scale of one inch to sixty feet (1" = 60') or larger and plainly marked "plat of survey" and show the following:
   A.   The name and address of the owner and the name, address and profession of the person preparing the plat.
   B.   The date, scale and north point, and a key map showing the general location of the proposed plat of survey in relation to surrounding area.
   C.   The legal description of the area being platted.
   D.   The boundary line (accurate in scale), the dimensions and location of the property to be platted and the location of section lines.
   E.   The names and location of adjacent subdivisions or other plats of survey and the names of record owners and location and names of owners of adjoining parcels of unplatted land.
   F.   The zoning classification and proposed use for the are being platted.
   G.   The layout of all existing and proposed building lines and easements.
Any plat of survey not containing all information specified above shall not be considered by the Zoning Administrator or his or her designee.
3.   Approval of plat of survey procedures required.
4.   Following approval by the Zoning Administrator, the Applicant may proceed with recordation of the plat of survey.
5.   Following receipt of a notice of disapproval from the Zoning Administrator, the Applicant shall not proceed with the division of the land included in the plat of survey, unless the requirements of this chapter are met.
