False alarms shall be billed directly by the Police Department, according to the alarm fee schedule in Chapter 171. False alarm fees shall be paid within thirty (30) days of the billing date. If the false alarm fee is not paid within thirty (30) days, the Police Chief shall issue written notice by first class mail or personal delivery of the intention to disconnect the alarm user’s alarm from its connection to the police department. The Police Chief may refuse to authorize response by police department personnel to future alarms from that alarm user’s alarm system.
