This chapter is to be used by Civil Engineers in preparing drainage reports for storm water planning, analysis and design and grading plans within the town. Many procedures that are presented or referenced within this chapter have a limited range of applicability. An attempt has been made in this chapter to specify these ranges whenever possible. However, it is the responsibility of the practicing engineer to utilize sound engineering judgment and experience when applying any engineering methodology to a particular project. Also, the appropriate sections of the Unified Development Code (1996) (UDC), latest revision adopted by the town, shall apply as appropriate and deemed necessary by the town.
