(A) The International Fuel Gas Code, 2018 Edition, published on or after August 31, 2017 by the International Code Council Inc., is adopted.
(B) The following local amendments to the International Fuel Gas Code are adopted:
(1) Section 306.3 Appliances in attics. The first sentence is amended to read as follows: “Attics containing appliances shall be provided with an opening and unobstructed passageway large enough to allow removal of the largest component of the appliance.” The words “component of” are added to the end of the paragraph after the word “largest” and before the word “appliance”.
(2) Section 306.4 Appliances under floor. Same modification as § 306.3.
