(A) An applicant or licensee shall permit representatives of the Police Department, Fire Department, Community Development Department, Federal, State, County or town departments or agencies to inspect the premises of a sexually oriented business for the purpose of insuring compliance with the law at any time it is occupied or open for business.
(B) It shall be unlawful for a licensee, operator or employee of a sexually oriented business to refuse to permit a law enforcement officer or any agency enumerated in division (A) of this section to inspect the premises at any time the premises is occupied or open for business.
(C) The provisions of this section do not apply to areas of an adult motel which are currently being rented by a customer for use as a permanent or temporary habitation.
