It shall be the duty of the Fire Chief to do the following:
(A) Direct the operations of the Fire Department subject to the operational policies thereof.
(B) Exercise his or her responsibilities under the adopted Fire Code (including any amendments).
(C) Ensure that records of all incidents, inspections, apparatus and equipment, personnel and other information about the work of the Department are maintained.
(D) Make an annual report. The report shall include the information specified in division (C) above, together with comparative date for previous years and recommendations for improving the effectiveness of the Department.
(E) Enforce or cause to be enforced all ordinances, laws and regulations of the town and state, insofar as they pertain to fire and safety.
